- TSS Pre-Solicitation Notice - FA8621-12-R-6258 Pre-solicitation Notice: Synopsis Date: 5 Sep 12 Contracting Office Zip Code: 45433 Classification Code: U - Education and Training Services Contracting Officer Address: 2300 D Street, WPAFB OH 45433 Subject: TSS Re-competition Proposed Solicitation Number: FA8621-12-R-6258 Anticipated Closing Response Date: 10 Nov 12 Contracting Officer: Mr. Bill Oswald Contract Line Item Number(s): TBD Anticipated Contract Award Date: Jun 2013 Contractor: TBD Description: The US Air Force is acquiring services to provide Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) and operate the TSS Training System Support Center (TSSC) for a period of performance beginning upon contract award through 31 Dec 2017. The anticipated RFP release date is 10 Oct 12. Offerors will have 30 days to respond to the RFP once released. The contractor must meet the requirements of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and all other RFP documents. The anticipated Firm Fixed Price contract will provide CLS and TSSC for 100 training devices at United States Air Force (USAF), Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC), Air National Guard (ANG) and United States Marine Corp (USMC) sites worldwide. This will be a competitive best value trade off source selection conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15, as supplemented by the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and the Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (AFFARS). Award will be made to the offeror who is deemed responsible in accordance with FAR Part 9, as supplemented, whose proposal conforms to the solicitation's requirements, and is judged, as based on this solicitation, to represent the best value to the Government.
