Description

The Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 3 Imaging Council is soliciting information regarding currently available Picture Archiving and Communications (PACS) Systems. The Imaging Council has the intention of hearing short presentations and demonstrations from multiple vendors on the same day. The presentations and demonstrations are for market research purposes only, and each presenting vendor will bear all responsibility, risk, and cost of participation. THE GOVERNMENT HAS NO INTENTION OF MAKING AN AWARD BASED ON THESE PRESENTATIONS. The vendor must fulfill the following minimum criteria to be eligible for an invitation to participate in presentations: 1.Ability to deploy an Enterprise PACS system across a nine (9) hospital system with image volume of approximately 300,000 exams per year. 2.System will configured using a vendor-supplied Vendor Neutral Archive as the primary storage archive. 3.Diagnostic client is compatible with Windows 7 and system has existing interfaces with VISN and Powerscribe (V. 4.X and 360). 4.System has compatibility for image distribution for clinical review through both CPRS and CITRIX Access Gateway. System is able to auto-route images to VISTA Imaging after final report is issued. 5.System has built-in functionality for 3D and multiplanar postprocessing, diagnostic mammography, and the full spectrum of nuclear medicine examinations, including Cardiac, SPECT/CT, and PET/CT examinations. 6.Vendor is able to provide 24/7/365 support. Presentations will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2012 in Atrium Conference Room A at the Manhattan VAMC, 423, East 23rd Street, NY, NY 10010. Presentations will be a maximum of 1H 45MIN in length. Presentations will be scheduled only with those vendors that meet the minimum criteria listed above. When responding, vendors must submit written confirmation affirming that the above criteria are met by that vendor's proposed system, and that the proposed system is currently commercially available. Vendors should note in their responses whether the system is available for purchase via a Multiple Award Schedule contract or other Government-wide contract vehicle. RESPONSES MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING TO THE CONTRACTING OFFICER, STEPHANIE BELLANGER, STEPHANIE.BELLANGER@VA.GOV, NO LATER THAN 2 PM, TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 18, 2012.
