- The Contracting Department, NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, VA, 23511-3392 intends to purchase on a sole source basis, AISES Circle of Support Partner Turquoise Sponsor throughout the period of 21 September 2012 to 20 September 2013, for the Naval Recruiting Command at Millington, TN. The contractor is American Indian Science and Engineering Society, 2305 Renard Place SE, Ste 200, Albuquerque, NM 87119. The proposed contract action will be a Firm Fixed Price and will utilize procedures under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 813410. The size standard is $7.0M. The period of performance consists of a base period of one year. The anticipated start date is 21 September, 2012. The solicitation, any documents related to this procurement, and all amendments issued will be in electronic form. THE RFQ WILL BE AVAILABLE ON OR AROUND 05 SEPTEMBER 2012. When the Request for Quote (RFQ) is issued, it may be downloaded by accessing http://www.neco.navy.mil. This office no longer issues hardcopy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the offeror will be self certifying that neither the principal corporate officials nor owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
