Description
The United States Army Contracting Command- New Jersey-Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000, on behalf of Armaments Research Engineering Center (ARDEC) has a requirement for technical support for the Longbow Apache Attack Helicopter Program. The contractor will be required to support the computer resources effort immediately after contract award to include software integration and verification efforts as critical program milestones are in place by the Apache PMO. Specific services include: a) To provide technical expertise in the evaluation of aircraft Display processor, System processor, Weapons processor and Mission processor CSCI software requirements, analysis of software test results and verification of requirements; b) Support Software Test Environment (STE) testing, Avionics Integration Lab (AIL) testing and aircraft testing as required; c) Provide surveillance during software development and support verification of the software requirements, lab and aircraft testing of the Radar Electronics Unit (REU) component of the Fire Control Radar and the Unmanned TCDL Assembly (UTA); d) Support software test data analysis of the Egypt unique FMS Longbow Apache Block II OFP baseline and Saudi and UAE unique Longbow Apache Block III OFP baseline; e) Review of software CDRL's upon completion of a Software Baseline Verification Test. This will be a base 6 month contract award. The U.S. Army intends to satisfy this requirement by soliciting, negotiating, and awarding a sole source effort with Decilog, Inc, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 (a)(2)(iii), only one responsible source and no other supplies or service will satisfy agency requirements. Solicitation is expected to be issued at the end of August, 2012. All responsible/interested sources shall submit their qualifications and capabilities via email to tara.e.henderson2.civ@mail.mil.
