- Mission and Instillation Contracting Command intends to award, on a sole source basis, a firm-fixed price contract to Pacific Bell Telephone Company, DBA - AT&T California, 795 FOLSOM, ROOM 504 SAN FRANCISCO CA 94107-4223 for a 1 Gigabit Ethernet connection linking two buildings to an existing Army network. Authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies and Services will satisfy agency requirements. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 517110 with a size standard of 1500 applies. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals; however, interested parties may express their interest and capability to respond to the requirements. A determination by the government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered soley for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any response to this notice is due two calendar days from the date of this publication.
