Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The quotation number is RFQ-RT-12-00168, and the procurement is being issued as a set aside for Small Business competition Request for Quotation (RFQ) using FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-60. This procurement is set aside for Small Businesses. All responses from responsible Small Business sources will be fully considered. The NAICS Code is 541519 with a Size Standard of $25.5 million. This action is for support to provide maintenance for the following Dell Equipment Located at 109 T.W. Alexander Drive, RTP, NC. Twenty (20) Dell PowerEdge 2850 Servers, Twenty-one (21) Dell PowerEdge 2950 Servers, Four (4) Dell Power Vault 132T?s, Eight (8) Dell PowerEdge R710?s and Two (2) Power Vault MD 1000?s. Response time shall be 4 hours or less. Period of performance for 24 x 7 On-Site Maintenance shall be: 10/01/2012 ? 09/30/2013 FAR provisions and/or clauses referenced are available on-line at http://www.arnet.gov/far/. Solicitation Provision FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation ? Commercial Items is hereby incorporated. The evaluation criteria to be included in paragraph (a) of provision 52.212-2 is as follows: All offerors will be evaluated on their past performance for work similar in size and scope as the requirement and their corporate experience in the area of the government's requirement. Past Performance and Corporate Experience are equal in importance. Offerors should provide references for their past performance, at least three for work performed similar in size and scope over the last three years. Offerors should also provide information regarding their corporate experience in performing and managing work similar to the government's requirement. Past Performance and Corporate Experience, when combined, are more important than cost/price. The government will award on the basis of best value. Contractors are reminded to submit a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with their quote. These additional provisions also apply FAR 52.209-2, FAR 52.222-48 and EPA-2012-5 - Representation by Corporations Regarding A Felony Conviction Under Federal Law Or Unpaid Federal Tax Liability.
