- Description
- (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number is F2N33S2229A001; this solicitation is a Request for Quotation. (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-60 and DPN 20120829 (iv) There is no small business set-aside for this acquisition. This acquisition will be full and open competition; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332410. (v) DESCRIPTION The contractor shall provide all tools, materials, transportation, labor and supervision to provide and install a BABCOCK-WANSON boiler. Model #: VAP 1800 RR (steam output 2000 kg/hr) or equal. ONE(1) Each. Installation Includes: Removal of existing boiler to adjoining room Removal of all piping and separation of stack connections Disconnecting boiler from electrical mains Lifting and moving boiler to adjoining room Moving and mounting of new one with the following connections: - stack - gas oil feed line - steam output line - water feed line - blow down lines - electrical and control feeds Commissioning of new boiler with all required safety and production checks and test runs. Delivery location: Bldg T-207, Lajes Field, Azores, Portugal. **************************************************************************** THIS IS A BRAND NAME OR EQUAL ACQUISITION. OR EQUAL ITEMS ARE ACCEPTABLE FOR AWARD, HOWEVER, OR EQUAL ITEMS QUOTED MUST MEET SALIENT PHYSICAL, FUNCTIONAL, OR PERFOMRANCE CHARACTERISTICS. ALL QUOTES SHALL INCLUDE SHIPPING COSTS ON AN FOB DESTINATION BASIS TO LAJES FIELD, AZORES, PORTUGAL. ***************************************************************************************** (vi) See paragraph (v).
