- *** ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS THAT HAVE BEEN RECEIVED*** Q: Does the tank have to be constructed to be lifted by helicopter? Crane? Truck? A: Must be movable by crane. Q: Is the tank to be vertical or horizontal? A: Horizontal. Q: To where do the old 6,000 gallon tanks have to be transported? Mileage to the site where the 6,000's are unloaded? A: They will not leave Cannon AFB. The approximate mileage is roughly 2 miles. Q: In Item 2 does the statement "The old LOX tanks can hold up to 6,000 gallons" mean that there may be liquid in the tanks at the time they are to be removed? A: The old tanks will be completely empty at time of removal. ***END OF ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS***
