Description

The Philadelphia VA Medical Center, Philadelphia, PA, will be soliciting proposals from vendors to furnish all personnel, supervision, management, food, beverages and drinks necessary to prepare meals as described below for residents of the "Snyder House" Philadelphia VA Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program (RRTP). A fully equipped kitchen facility, including food preparation machinery, cooking appliances, refrigeration equipment, implements, and tools will be provided to the Contractor as Government Furnished Material (GFM). Additionally, all pots, pans, serving utensils, cups, dishes, forks, spoons, knives, trays, trash containers, will also be GFM. The subject place of performance is located off the Philadelphia VA Medical Center campus at the "Snyder House" 1425 Snyder Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19145. Meals shall be served three times per day, every day, including weekends and holidays, and they will meet the nutritional needs of the veterans that we serve. Although the resident population is expected to fluctuate slightly, the contractor shall expect to prepare and serve three meals per day for approximately 40 residents. The awarded contract will be a Fixed-Price type contract. The solicitation method will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Point of contact is Peter T.
