- Notice of contract action: intent to award sole-source contract. This is not a solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs (Network Contracting Office 1 (New England) 650/90C) intends to negotiate and award a blanket purchase agreement for pressure sensors to PCB Piezotronics, Inc (3425 Walden Avenue, Depew, New York 14043-2495 DUNS: 042568774). A five year agreement with ceiling of $150,000.00 is under consideration. The equipment/services are described as follows: high resolution pressure sensor packages and peripherals to be furnished to for VA research in Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). The items to be acquired are: 1 ICP ® pressure sensors for triple redundant assessment of shock tube experiments 2 Low-noise, Teflon, coaxial cables for ICP ® pressure sensor 3 Quartz, free-field, ICP ® blast pressure pencil probes 4 Low-noise, Teflon, coaxial cable for ICP ® blast pressure pencil probes 5 Triaxial, ceramic shear ICP ® accelerometers 6 4-Conductor, shielded BNC cable for ICP ® accelerometers 7 Necessary & reasonable peripheral, diagnostic, & ancillary equipment to support the sensor package The authority for this action is FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice contains information current through FAC 2005-60. The NAICS is 334419. The FSC/PSC is 6685. No solicitation will be posted to this site.
