- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD), Panama City, Florida is soliciting competitive quotations to purchase one hundred eighty (180) new Eaton Corporation P/N CD3C2C3C3DUW100240. The Eaton circuit breaker is standard configuration on the LCAC since 2001. The replacement circuit breakers must be 100% form, fit, function compatible, in order to maintain configuration with the existing legacy craft. This specific brand manufactured by Eaton Corporation is the only product that meets the Governments requirements. Use of any other components or configurations of equipment would result in costly and time consuming development and testing to certify the items 100% compatible with the LCAC electrical system. All components must be new not refurbished. Therefore no equal to item will be accepted. Only the Eaton Corporation circuit breaker P/N CD3C2C3C3DUW100240 will be accepted. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to Naval Support Activity - Panama City, 110 Vernon Avenue, Panama City, FL 32407-7001. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price purchase order. The Request for Quote will be posted on 10 September 2012. All quotes must be emailed or faxed to the Contract Specialist listed below. The award will be made to the lowest price offeror on or about 30 September 2012. The Department of Defense will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database which has taken the place of the Central Contractor Registration Database (CCR). Registration may be accomplished by accessing the SAM website at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. NAICS Code 334419 applies. FSC is 5975.
