- Description
- The Fleet Logistics Center, Jacksonville (FLCJ) has a GSA small business set aside procurement for shuttle bus transportation in Key West, FL. UNITAS Atlantic is both an Operational and Foreign Military Interaction Exercise and is a top priority exercise for U. S. Southern Command (USSSOUTHCOM). This Expeditionary Logistics and Life Support Services for U.S. Navy and Partner Nation forces operating ashore in Key West, Florida. The primary objective of this contract is to provide two (2) 49-56 passenger buses with drivers, fuel, and unlimited mileage for transportation between Mole Pier and Navy Gateway Inn, Trumbo Point from 17-19 September 2012. This requirement is a shuttle service which should begin at or about 0700 from Mole Pier and continue running throughout the day ending at or about 1800. Two or more buses are needed on the first shuttle run (Navy Pier) with approximately 100 participants needing transportation. One bus is needed thereafter with 30 minute intervals to meet transportation needs of participants traveling to-and-from ships to attend meetings scheduled to take place at Trumbo Point. It is essential that all required services be coordinated with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and delivered and operating upon arrival of forces unless otherwise specified by COR. The Services Contractor (SC) contractor shall work closely with the assigned COR, in the coordination and scheduling, ensuring effective completion of all services described herein. The SC shall provide all labor, material, personnel, operational and technical support to perform the statement of work for the execution of this exercise.
