Description

This is not a request for quote; this is a notice of the Government's intent to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Boley Center, Inc 445 31st Street N, St Petersburg, Florida 33713, pursuant to FAR PART 6.302-1(a) (2), only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy the agency's requirements. Department of Veterans Affairs, Bay Pines Health Care System intends to award a contract for "Safe Haven Model Demonstration Project" services which is a specialty model of HCHV residential care as mandated by the Secretary of the VA zero-tolerance policy to end homelessness within the Veteran population. This Five-Year Plan calls for utilizing new models of care, not previously offered by the VA. This contract will be for a one year, twelve (12) month period of performance. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotations, however interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement by closing date and time by e-mail to Annette.Whitfield@va.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete the contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Please refer any questions to Annette.Whitfield@va.gov.
