Description

Justification Solicitation HC1028-12-T-0165 DISA/DITCO intends to issue a contract for the acquisition Microsoft Office 365 software licenses for the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA). Microsoft has proprietary rights to the software code for the Microsoft Office 365 software products associated with this requirement and is the only known source, along with its resellers, that can provide this maintenance support. No other vendor or distributor can legally obtain access to the software, and no other vendor can make duplicate copies since it is protected by copyright and patent laws. The estimated delivery date will be 20 September 2012. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. § 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Companies who can provide the above listed software must complete a copy of the solicitation and submit it via email to lynn.m.buss.civ@mail.mil. Responses are due by 2:00 P.M. (Central Time) on 14 Sepember 2012. The resultant contract will be firm fixed price. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that will be considered. The NAICS code is 511210 for this procurement.
