Description
Request for Information Description The National Mediation Board (NMB) is seeking information on applicability and viability of redesigning its website. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the NMB is not, at this time, seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the respondent's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, is any is issued. Background The NMB is looking to redesign its current website at www.nmb.gov. We are requesting information on the anticipated cost to redesign the website using the latest technologies. Scope of Requirements -Assess and catalogue content of the current NMB web site -Consult on options for web site functionality -Engage in site design for the 'new NMB' site -Build and populate the new site in consultation with the NMB -Consult on location/hosting of new site -Provide training for NMB web master(s) and staff -Normally hand-off new site and manage (if applicable) switch from current host -Develop applications or applets as needed Questions -What is the time frame and cost to complete each task? -Please provide a proposed payment schedule. Responses Responses in Adobe Acrobat format, are due no later than, 14 September 2012 and should be submitted via e-mail only to conward@nmb.gov. Please limit responses to no more than 10 pages. Please be advised that all submissions / responses become Government property and will not be returned. Proprietary information should be kept to the minimum and MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED. To aid the Government, please segregate proprietary information. Please provide information on web site design to address NMB's questions. Also, please include additional information that would be of value to the government-please mark as "additional information."
