- This is a notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate and award a sole source Firm Fixed Price contract to ALFRED WILLIAMS & COMPANY. This requirement is for the purchase of furniture for the Behavioral Health Clinic located at Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC), 2817 Reilly Road, Fort Bragg, NC 28310. The products are a standardized component system within WAMC. The furniture is standardized as a component to the furniture packages, is designated as medical certified, designed for our individual needs and has knowledge of our required specifications. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No compatibles or substitutes accepted. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses via email ONLY to Mrs. Ulett Benson at ulett.m.benson@us.army.mil no later than 18 September 2012 @ 5:00 PM EST. No telephonic request will be honored.
