- ERDC Contracting Office intends to solicit on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to ImmixTechnology, 8444 Westpark Drive, Suite 200, McLean, VA 22102 for Mobile Armor Software and Support Maintenance Renewal. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. As of 1 February 2012, ImmixTechnology, Inc. was the sole GSA Schedule Holder authorized to sell Mobile Armor Product/Services to the Federal government. Additional GSA Schedule Holders may be selected at a later date by Mobile Armor, but there are no plans at this time. Therefore, it is vital to the project that continuity of the system remains; therefore, no other company could perform this software and support maintenance renewal. The government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations must be registered with GSA. These organizations may submit their capabilities/qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 1600 hrs Central Time Zone on 19 September 2012. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. No RFP will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent.
