- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) - Contracts Division, Army Testing and Evaluation Command, Fort Hood, TX 76544 intends to award on a sole source basis in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, to Career Communications Group Inc. (CCG), 729 E. Pratt St/5th Floor, Baltimore, MD 21202 for the Women of Color (WOC) STEM Conference. CCG/WOC is the sole source for this type of event and is an integral part of the strategic plans for the United States Army Test and Evaluation Command (USATEC) to conduct a proactive, progressive, and productive effort to diversify and seek out highly qualified candidates for the present and future ATEC civilian workforce. This requirement will be awarded as a Firm Fixed (FFP) contract with a period of performance, 11-13 Oct 12. The North American Industry Classified System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561920, "Convention and Trade Show Organizers" with a small business size standard of $7.0 million. This is not a request for Competitive Proposals. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon the responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. If you feel your firm possess the ability to provide these services, you must respond by demonstrating your firm's technical capability to meet the requirement. If no affirmative written response is received, the services will be awarded without further notice.
