Description

The Department of State, Ralph J. Bunche Library intends to issue a Sole Source order with Wood Mackenzie for Upstream Research. Market research was conducted and it has been determined there is only one responsible source for our requirements in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The services being sought are online access to a comprehensive source of energy data and analysis which includes crude oil production, consumption, export, and import figures on a country basis. Wood Mackenzie Upstream Research provides a proprietary knowledge base of models, databases, and other analytical material that covers all phases of upstream operations and the assets and activities of countries and companies. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document is available; parties shall submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement.
