Description
Statement of Work This is a notice of intent to negotiate with Camber Corporation on an other than full and open competition basis for F/A-18 Air-to-Ground radar simulation software support in the United States Navy Test Pilot School (USNTPS) simulation facility. The USNTPS simulation lab utilizes Camber Corporation's Radar Toolkit to create a realistic F/A-18 Air-to-Ground radar model that has modifiable parameters so that instructors can demonstrate many design characteristics of that aircraft's radar system. The Statement of Work is attached to this notice. Camber Corporation is the only contractor capable of providing technical assistance and updates for this software package since they hold the proprietary rights to the application. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. Camber Corporation is the sole manufacturer and reseller and holds all design rights. It is anticipated a firm-fixed priced purchase order will be awarded for this effort. This requirement is being procured under statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition, 10 USC Section 2304(c)(1), only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This requirement is being procured under the North American Industry Classification System code 541512 and the size standard is $25.5M. All inquiries regarding this notice of intent must be addressed, in writing, to the following address: NAVAIR/AD Contracts Department (AIR-2.5.1), Building 441, Code 2.5.1.12 (Catrina Vitez), NAWCAD, 21983 Bundy Road, Patuxent River, Maryland 20670 or via e-mail to Catrina.Vitez@navy.mil. Responses to this notice of intent must be made within seven (7) days after this notice is electronically posted and should include the company name, point of contact, address, telephone number, fax number, email address of the point of contact, and company literature sufficient to determine the firm's capability to perform this effort. Consideration of responses is solely within the discretion of the Government, generally for purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
