- TITLE: Procurement for PatrolSim V Driver Training Simulator in support of the Directorate of Emergency Service (DES) Fort Hood, TX. Mission and Installation Contracting Command - Fort Hood, TX intends to award a sole source purchase order to L3 Communications, 1330 Braddock Place, Suite 100, Alexandria, VA 22314, a large business, for the procurement of PatrolSim V Driver Training Simulator in support of the Directorate of Emergency Service at Fort Hood, Texas. This acquisition is conducted in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) (1) Soliciting from a Single Source. The Contracting Officer has determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available due to only one responsible source and no other service will satisfy agency requirements. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 541519 - Other Computer Related Services with a size standard of $25.0M. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes; however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding within 5 days after the date of electronic publication of this synopsis. All responses must be provided no later than 10:00 am CDT 24 September 2012. A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
