Description
ChartMeds Advance e-MAR System monthly usage for 375 patients, NAVCONBRIG MIRAMAR, San Diego, CA 92145. Period of Performance: 01 October 2012 thru 30 September 2013. Per Item Description below. REQUIREMENT DESCRIPTION: The Chart Meds electronic medication administration system to control medication dispensing, streamline the medication pass, reduce dispensing errors via computer verification, and automate day-to-day documentation tasks. The system needs to be user friendly, making transition from manual paper to automation painless. Web based with nothing install on the client computers. System management process can be done from any PC. SYSTEM FEATURES SHALL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: 1.Patient photo which will be displayed to the user during the med pass. 2.Easy to read Electronic MAR with all initials and documentation completed. 3.Quickly charts & track vitals 4.Full medication profile for residents. 5.Real time perpetual count for all meds. 6.Pharmacy reports for meds to be filled in list format with patient name, SSN, medication and ordering provider. 7.Late medication, follow-up reminders. 8.Email message alerts sent to administrators and providers in case of a missed medication, needed refills, low stock levels or other error. 9.Verification of medication via Bar code scanner (optional). 10.Customizable for facilities ™ unique needs. 11.Increases efficiency through numerous report capabilities. 12.Ensures patient safety by reducing medication administration errors. 13.No maintenance of servers, hardware or software (encrypted software with secure servers and multiple back up). 14.Medications can be managed easily using an integrated drug database. 15.Patients can be added, disabled or removed easily. 16.Multiple authority levels. 17.Ability to have large quantities of stock meds that can be given to any patient. 18.Disallows medication dispensing if the med is not due or has been already given. 19.Can place/setup meds into a ˜holding area ™ then later marked as dispensed. 20.Graphical representation of how the medication pass is progressing. 21.Graphical representation of how long each medication pass is taking with trends. 22.Graphical representation of how medication workload throughout the day. 23.Transfer and discharge patient to other facilities and forms. 24.Patient census with trends. 25.Medication census with trends. 26.Graphical representation of how long each user is taking on each pass by patient. 27.Inmate observation report and disciplinary report generation. 28.Physician authorization reports and progress notes with expiration dates for each entry and only listing keep on person medications.
