- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, N4155712RC094CO is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-58. This procurement is a 100% Small Business set-aside IAW FAR 19.502-2. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334310. The business size standard is 750 Employees. The contractor shall provide the following commercial items requested in this solicitation: CLIN Specifications: CLIN 0001 - Qty: 5 ea Waterproof headsets-Radio and headset must be submersible no less than 25ft up to 20 meters/66ft. -Must be able to use in water and out of water -Water proof bag needs to be no bigger than 18" wide and 27" long, bag must be waterproof with padding inside to protect radio, must have a decompression valve. The bag shall have a waterproof zipper design, must withstand 2 atmopheric pressures. -Must withstand 4 hours of submersion condensation and saltwater -Bag should also contain a 10ft antenna cable with internal BNC connector -Headset must have 3000HM earphone with boom microphone and push to talk -Needs to have no less than 6lbs to activate the radio transmit, with an option for volume control attached to the PTT. -waterproof bag also needs to have a lsim profile to fit under, underwater rescue PPE and water rescue helmets Quotes should include material description, catalog cuts or photos to be deemed technically acceptable. Quotes should include freight cost and Proposed Delivery Schedule with shipment to Andersen AFB, Guam 36 CES/CEF Unit 14007 APO,AP 96543-4007 Items should be shipped no later than 30 Days ADC, FOB: Destination The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items. Quotes will be evaluated and awarded to the offeror with the lowest price technically acceptable. The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, and the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal.
