- Description
- The project includes renovations to Bldgs. 103, 121, 123, and 124 at the Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station Atlantic Detachment Cutler, Maine. Renovations include, but are not limited to the following: Remove and replace cracked, spalled and otherwise deteriorated concrete masonry units. Install new elastomeric coating on exterior surfaces of new concrete masonry units. Repair designated areas of cracked and spalled exterior concrete. Remove existing corrugated metal wall panel systems. Install new metal wall panels, complete with all flashings and sheet metal transitions. Provide structural augmentation. Remove existing elastomeric coating in areas to receive new flashings against concrete masonry unit or concrete walls/framing. Install sealants at metal wall panels and wall penetrations. Remove and replace existing exterior elastomeric coating. Refinish existing Exterior Insulation Finishing System. Remove and replace, or install new, designated roof access ladders. Cut back existing EPDM roofing membrane as required for the installation of sheet metal gutters and downspouts. Install EPDM membrane and flashings at new gutter locations. Install new EPFM roof flashings at designated existing rooftop equipment. Install new roof walkway pads. Remove and replace designated areas of saturated existing EPDM roof system. Remove and replace designated exterior and interior doors complete with all stops, anchors, hardware, and accessories. Remove and replace existing overhead and sectional doors. Remove, prime, paint, and reinstall existing wall-mounted hood assemblies. Remove and replace existing windows and associated framing, blocking, flashings, sealants, and backing materials. Establish erosion control and dewatering measures. Perform contamination testing of excavated and stockpiled soils. Remove and replace the building foundation drain. Construct paved parking lot with associated lighting and stormwater management practices. Remove and replace the hot water unit heaters, cabinet unit heaters, fin tube radiation and convectors. Remove ventilation systems and replace with supply fans with hot water heating coils, face and bypass control, mixing boxes, hot water piping and exhaust fans all with controls. Remove Floor level HVAC system and provide new rooftop HVAC unit. Remove the toilet exhaust systems and provide new roof mounted exhaust fan. Clean the primary/secondary hot water plate and frame heat exchanger. Remove the Automatic Temperature Control system and provide a Direct Digital Control system. Provide Exterior & Interior Ramps. Renovate Toilet Rooms. Remove and replace Heat Exchanger Pumps. Remove and Replace Supply Fans. Remove and replace Boiler. Provide HVAC Upgrades. Provide Interior Lighting & Wiring. Remove and replace louvers. Install Fall Protection. Paint Interior Stairwell.
