- The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Palo Alto Health Care System is issuing a Source Sought Notice to determine if there are any Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) and Small businesses (SB) with expertise in health services research and be familiar with operation within the Center for Health Care Evaluation. Contractor must have expertise in basic research methods, research ethics, and common research practices evidenced by prior work experiences and/or certifications. 1.Contractor must have data management experience using SPSS. 2. Contractor must have experience with data analysis and SPSS syntax. 3. Contractor must have experience with dissemination of research findings in the form of conference presentations and/or published scholarly articles. Contractor will perform duties at : VA Palo Alto Health Care System, Menlo Park Division, 795 Willow Road, Building 324, Menlo Park, CA 94025. The Period of Performance on/about October 1, 2012 through September 30, 2013. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The proposed NAICS code is 518210 and the business size standards is $25M. At this point in the procurement process the VA is performing market research to determine the interest of Service Disable Veterans Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, Hubzone Small Business, and Small Disadvantage Businesses (8(a)). Interested firms fitting one or more of the Socio-economic categories should send their information by email to Isabel.Arroyo@va.gov no later than 12:00 am Pacific Time, September 20, 2012. Information should include: Name of your Company, POC name, phone numbers, email address, CCR/DUNS certification, and indicate status i.e. SDVOSD, VOSB, and/or Small Business, if claiming SDVOSB and VOSB please provide VetBiz certification.
