- Under full and open competition, NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk is seeking sources to provide a single, integrated and real-time solution that combines media research (including global sources); traditional media monitoring and analysis; as well as social media branding, management and analysis to assist the Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) in public relations management. This procurement is being conducted as a commercial item acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12 and Part 15. The award of a firm-fixed price contract is anticipated. Release of the Request for Quotes [RFQ] will be via the internet. Interested parties may download the RFQ upon its issuance to the following website: https://www.neco.navy.mil. Interested parties are solely responsible for the monitoring of the aforementioned website for postings of the solicitation and any amendments thereto. The Government will not pay for information submitted in response to this notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. The applicable North American Industry Classification System [NAICS] code is 511210. The anticipated Period of Performance is date of contract award through 12 months thereafter with one one-year option year. Additional information for this requirement will be listed in the solicitation upon its release, which is anticipated to be released no earlier than 19 SEP 2012. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration [CCR] database in order to be considered for award.
