- Solicitation Number: VA101-12-Q-0178 Notice Type: Combined Synopsis/Solicitation This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) under RFQ Number VA101-12-Q-0178. All bidders must be registered and active on www.ccr.gov and https://orca.bpn.gov. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will ONLY be available on the FBO website (www.fbo.gov ). This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The associated Northern American Industrial Classification (NAICS) for this effort is 423450 with a small business size standard of 100 employees. This RFQ is for thirteen (13) new emergency evacuation chairs and thirteen (13) new storage cabinets. The emergency evacuation chairs will be used to evacuate personnel with a mobility related disability or injury down stairways quickly and safely during an emergency situation. The Government will award a Firm Fixed Price contract to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the requirements in this RFQ, will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. A best value award will be made based upon the following factors: a. Technical: ability to provide products which conform to the characteristics and requirements listed in this solicitation; and b. Price Responses to this solicitation are due at 1:00PM EST on Tuesday, September 25, 2012. Any questions and responses shall be submitted to the Contract Specialist at naqikah.greenfield@va.gov
