Description

The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), on behalf of the Multifunctional Information Distribution System (MIDS) Program Office (MPO) (JPEOJTRS10), awarded a firm fixed price contract for the design, development, and production of the MIDS Low Volume Terminal (LVT) Cryptographic Module for MIDS-LVT Block Upgrade 2. This effort encompasses the development and production of a common MIDS-LVT modernized cryptographic module that will be integrated into existing MIDS-LVT hardware, which includes (a) the development, prototype delivery, testing, and integration of a new MIDS-LVT Cryptographic Module (LCMs) for use in 11 different MIDS-LVT hardware variants, and (b) production of approximately 10,000 MIDS LCMs for retrofit of all existing MIDS-LVT hardware in service at the conclusion of the development effort.
