Description: This is a Synopsis from the Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD), Panama City, FL. NSWC PCD intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order on a competitive basis to qualified small businesses for the fabrication, test, and delivery of twenty (20) each Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) chocks in accordance with NSWC PCD drawing 41842. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business. Vendors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database Registration. Award will be made to the lowest priced offeror meeting the schedule requirements and having satisfactory past performance. Delivery is required by one hundred-twenty (120) days after award of the order. Hardware will be delivered to the Receiving Office, Naval Support Activity Panama City (NSA PC) 101 Vernon Ave, Panama City, FL 32407-7018. Requests for the drawing should be e-mailed to stuart.burman@navy.mil. The anticipated award date will be on or about 09/28/2012. NAICS Code 332710 applies. Small business size standard is 500 employees. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement, or any follow-up information requests. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. The Government reserves the right to consider all small business set-aside or 8(a) based on responses hereto.
