- This is NOT a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (small business or other than small business) relative to NACIS 237110 (size standard of $33.5 Million). Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation may be published in the Federal Business Opportunity (fbo.gov) website. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate offers or proposals. All interested and qualified offerors will be required to respond to the actual solicitation announcement. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 22 Network Contracting Office is seeking sources for a potential contract to provide Water & Sewer Utility Services at VA Loma Linda Healthcare System (VALLHS) located at 11201 Benton Street, Loma Linda, CA 92357. The Contractor shall have the ability of providing the Water and Sewer Utility Services in accordance with local guidelines of the City of Loma Linda, California and provisions regulated by the California Public Utilities Commission. The Contractor shall owned all infrastructure to ensuring clean, safe, and reliable water is delivered and quality sewer services are offered to VALLHS in order to maintain proper environmental care, prevent the spread of diseases, and infection control as required by local, state, and federal regulations. If you are interested, and are capable of providing the required services please provide the requested information as indicated below. The intended contract period for the contemplated Purchase Order or Task Order will be for one-year. Response to this notice should include company name, address, point of contact, business size pursuant to the related NAICS Code. Please also identify whether your company is a: (1) small disadvantaged business, (2) woman-owned small business, and (3) certified Veteran or Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business? Responses to this notice shall be e-mailed to the attention of Jaime Guzman at jaime.guzman@va.gov with "Interested Contractor - Water and Sewer Utility Services" on the subject line. Telephone responses shall NOT be accepted. Responses must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. PST on September 27, 2012. This notice is to assist the VA in determining sources only. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued it shall be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Responses to this sources sought notice are not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation.
