LOCAL SOURCES ARE THOSE SOURCES NORMALLY RESIDENT, LICENSED AND REGISTERED TO CONDUCT CONSTRUCTION BUSINESS IN SPAIN. OFFERS FROM NON-LOCAL SOURCES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED UNDER THIS SOLICITATION.*** This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFP) IAW FAR Parts 12. The reference number is F3N7A92249A001. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-60 and DFARS. In accordance with the Agreement of Defense and Cooperation between the Kingdom of Spain and the United States of America, any contract resulting from this notice/solicitation can only be entered into with companies authorized to carry out these activities in Spain under Spanish Law. Companies must meet the requirements by Spanish legislation for execution of Government works. All prospective eligible contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have DUNS number from Dunn & Bradstreet and NATO Cage Code from Http://www.dlis.dla.mil/Forms/Form_AC135.asp. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238390 Office furniture, modular system, installation The United States Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government using LPTA procedures. The Government intends to make award to the lowest priced technically acceptable offer with acceptable past performance. This combined synopsis/solicitation is for the following: Office Furniture for Building 1411 at Moron AB, Spain. Period of Performance: ***Contract performance is to take place within 30 calendar days of contract award. (POP 30 Days) This period of performance is negotiable.
