Question & Answer for VA256-12-Q-2158 VAMC Oklahoma City Police Camera System Question: 1.The existing system is Pelco. Does the new system have to be Pelco? Answer: No, as stated in Statement of Work (page 4 of 34) section 2 a. ¦"Equipment proposed shall be of high quality, non-proprietary, with a proven track record of performance of over 5 years in the field and be fully supported for immediate response in the event of an issue. 2.Are we to supply the exact items listed in B.2 Price cost schedule. Answer: No, as stated in Statement of Work (page 4 of 34) Section 1, "install the equipment on the Bill of Materials or equivalent to specified hardware. 3.The B.2 price cost schedule lists a 24 Terabyte RAID 6 Video Server. Is the unit to be a storage device for video only or act as the IP camera system server. Answer: It will function as the IP camera system server as well. 4.If above is storage only who will supply the CCTV system server? Answer: N/A 5.Who is providing the client machine/machines needed to video viewing and what number will be needed? Answer: We will furnish the client machines will need access for up to 20 concurrent users. 6.Are we reusing all of the existing monitors? If additional monitors are needed who will provide them? Answer: yes we will reuse all existing monitors if any more are needed we will provide. 7.Will we be reusing the Pelco 9700 matrix system? Answer: Yes for camera viewing and control of existing PTZ's with all cameras recorded and managed on the new platform.
