Description

This notice is posted in accordance with FAR 5.101(a)(2). The Dept of the Air Force intends to issue a sole source award to Motorola, 7031 Columbia Gateway Dr., 3rd Floor, Columbia, MD 21076-2289 for the following supplies: FFP: SUPPLIES - Purchase Land Mobile Handheld Radio. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tool, parts, transportation and incidentals necessary to provide Motorola Land Mobile Handheld Radios for 72 ABW/OSS in accordance with manufacturer's specifications. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within ten days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. See Note 22.
