- Description
- The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound intends to solicit, in support of Commander Navy Region Japan, on a sole source basis, to Schottel, Inc, for tugboat thrusters parts and repair. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements applies. This requirement is solicited on an urgent sole source basis as a commercial procurement using Contracting by Negotiation in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 15 utilizing Low Price Technically Acceptable evaluation factors resulting in award of a Firm-Fixed Price, Supply type contract. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: https://www.neco.navy.mil. The anticipated posting date of the solicitation is on or about 25 September 2012 with a closing on 26 Septmeber 2012. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. Prospective offerors should register themselves on the NECO website under Business Opportunities under solicitation number N00406-12-R-2115. No telephone or Fax requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or faxed. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by FLCPS. Offerors must also be registered in the Contractors Central Registration (CCR) in order to participate in this procurement at http://www.ccr.gov.
