Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is being advertised as unrestricted. The NAICS Code for this synopsis/solicitation is 334516, Size Standard 500 employees. Solicitation number F2KBAD2220A001 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-61, Effective 13 Sep 2012. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract for one contract line item. Please provide a quote for the item listed below: CLIN 0001 - Lithium-Drifted Charged Particle Detector Specifications: Lithium-drifted Silicon Charged Particle Detectors Transmission mounts with radial microdot connectors (female) 5 mm thickness 200 mm2 area Room Temperature operation and storage Description: The transmission mount is required so that the detectors can be stacked in-line to provide energy resolution and particle discrimination capabilities.
