Description

This notice is for informational purposes only. The Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, San Antonio intends to sole source purchase order to Time Warner Cable for the following services The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, supplies, materials, expertise and supervision necessary to provide a High Definition / Standard Definition Digital Cable Television reception package to the VA Medical Center, Austin CBOC as outlined below. The television network package will include a minimum of 31 channels listed below, to include all equipment, component wiring, devices and labor required for installation and service. The contract is for an all-inclusive turnkey job to provide Cable television for approximately 47 outlets throughout the Clinic. The justification for restricting competition is in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, 10 USC 2304 (c) (1). The Justification and Approval of this sole-source procurement to Time Warner for purchase is provided as an attachment to this notice. All inquiries on this action can be submitted in writing by email to Nakaura.yusuf2@va.gov, NO LATER THAN Monday September 27, 2012 8:00 am. This is NOT a request for Proposal and does NOT constitute any commitment by the Government. Responses to this Special Notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions.
