- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, W91248-12-T-0028, is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-60 dated 27 Aug 2012. This procurement is a 100% Small Business set-aside IAW FAR 19.502-2 (a). The NAICS code is 332311 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The following commercial items are requested in this solicitation; 0001 -Car Port, 22'Wx26'Lx8'Leg Height, 25' Roof Length, 12 Gauge Certified, QTY 16 EA Items shall be received 30 Days ADC FOB: Destination for delivery to FORT CAMPBELL, KY 42223. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition and are incorporated by reference (http://farsite.hill.af.mil): FAR provision 52.252-1, Solicitation Provisions Incorporated by Reference (FEB 1998); 52.252-2 -- Clauses Incorporated by Reference (FEB 1998); The provision at 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Items (Feb 2012), applies to this acquisition. In accordance with Paragraph (f) quotes received after the closing date are considered late and will not be considered by the Government. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items (Jan 1999): fill in as follows: evaluation factors are price and technical. In order to be technical acceptable, offeror must meet the salient characteristics listed on the bid schedule. Descriptive literature is required for "equal" products, IAW FAR 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal (Aug 1999). Successful offerors must be registered in SAM (System for Award Management), previously known as CCR, prior to invoicing; Reference FAR 52.204-99 (DEVIATION) in full text below.
