Description
Solicitation No. W81XWH-12-T-0508 will be issued on 26 September 2012 and quotes will be due on 02 October 2012 @ 17:00 PM EST. This is a modified Pre-solicitation to the previous one. The minimum essential characteristics (MECS) are removed from the solicitation until further notice. Below is the information to assist in obtaining the anti vibration platform until the MECs are received. If the MECS are uploaded after 48 hours from 26 September 2012, there will be an amendment created to extend the solicitation due date. The Government requirement is to provide Sem Base Anti-Vibration Platform or brand name or equal to TMC Model No. 25-37394-01. Active inertial vibration cancellation system. Install easily, minimal tuning required for unit weight of 550 lbs. Load capacity: 900 -2,500 pounds with the vibration cancellation starts below 1 Hz. Extended stroke piezoelectric stroke actuators, up to 60 microns and 6 active degrees of freedom. Compatible with all internal tool vibration isolation systems. Vibration isolation starting below 1 Hz with 5 - 10 dB isolation at 1.25 Hz, 10 - 15 dB at 2 Hz, 20 Db at 3 Hz and higher for all floor-generated vibration. Fits most SEMs with 35.5 x 44.5 x 5.5 inches. Manual driven LCD user interface, no soft air suspension. Simple, robust and optional casters allow easy portability, no lifting. Please follow what the requirement will be according to the Minimal Essential Characteristics (MEC). This requirement will be technically accepted, past performance, delivery and lowest price for a brand name or equal. The establish Purchase Order (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334519 with a size standard of 500. There will not be any hard copies of the solicitation is issued by this contracting office. All interested parties can view, download and print a copy of the solicitation, attachments (MECS), and any resulting amendments. View Additional Solicitation on the ASFI website. In accordance with FARS 13.5, all contractors wishing to do business with the Department of Defense must be registered in the System for Award Management registration (SAM) can be accomplished at the following website: www.sam.gov. There is also a deviation clause available to those vendors unable access SAM on the solicitation and award CLAUSE 52.232- 99, IAW FAR. This procurement is for small businesses set-a-side.
