- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. United States Army Alaska has a requirement for potable bottled water in order to support ongoing Homeland Security Operations. This request for quotation (RFQ) is being solicited as unrestricted, NAICS 312112, Bottled Water Manufacturing. Description of Requirement: 1. Provide potable bottled water delivery to U.S. Military Installations in Alaska as required by USARAK units. 2. Individual bottles are limited to 16.9 oz (0.5 liter) bottles packaged in plastic wrapped 24 or more count cases. The individual cases will be delivered by the vendor on standard wooden pallet(s) plastic wrapped for easy loading and unloading by a forklift. 3. Delivery to individual units will be required as needed at Fort Wainwright, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, or Fort Greely within 10 hours of notification 7 days a week. Order size will vary based on need, but vendor should have initial capacity to provide between 5000-9000 liters within first 10 hours of notification. 4. Due to the nature of this agreement multiple awards may result in order to meet requirement demands. 5. All contract work will be completed through individual Call Orders. These Call Orders will be competed amongst the Blanket Purchase Agreement awardees. A blanket purchase agreement is anticipated for a total period of five years per awardee. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, transportation, and equipment to deliver the requested items to the designated location. Sample quotation below: This is not an actual requirement. Each vendor will provide pricing data for the three scenarios listed below. Vendors capable of providing fair and reasonable offers will be eligible for inclusion in a Blank Purchase Agreement (BPA). Delivery of 5000 total liters of water to Fort Wainwright, Alaska Delivery of 5000 total liters of water to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska Delivery of 5000 total liters of water to Fort Greely, Alaska Quotes shall be submitted and received no later than 4PM EST, 12 OCTOBER 2012.
