Description

This procurement is to replace two old units that are at the end of their useful life and not worth relocating to B9001. We were asked by a vendor to furnish more specific information that they would normally gathr on a site survey. We have to furnish all vendors the exact same information so all information and or questions will get posted to FBO for all to see. 1. Clear height inside is 25'. 2. Area to be installed is 36'L x 15' W. 3. Largest item 120" L x 22" W x 28" W. 4. Average height - Items vary greatly. Several hundred different items stored. 5. Average width - Items vary greatly. 6. Minimum volume - We don't have time or floor space to empty all the contents from the two existing storage units to measure the volume. 7. Minimum surface area - See above. 8. Weight is 100 pounds/sq ft max. 9. Inventory control - Part number, quantity and bar code reader. 10. Security - Password control through a keypad. 11. Redundancy - Need safeties, light curtain, and height detection as described in SOW 4.7.1. and 7.1.
