Description

This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source firm-fixed price maintenance contract and is not a request for competitive proposals. The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 3 (New York/New Jersey) intends to solicit a quotation and enter into a contract with a GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS), also known as Federal Supply Schedule contract, Schedule 70, General Purpose Commercial Information Technology Equipment, Software, and Services holder for this sole source procurement in accordance with FAR 8.405-6(g). The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 3 intends to negotiate, by means other than full and open competition, a new firm-fixed price contract providing service, maintenance, and support of on a sole source basis of CliniComp's Essentris software and hardware. The NAICS code for this action is 511210 - Software Publishers. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government shall consider all responses received within ten days of this posting. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capability to fulfill the requirement. A solicitation is not available.
