Description
INTEREST SOUGHT The USDA Forest Service, Bridger-Teton National Forest currently occupies space and facilities on owned land in Jackson, Wyoming. Approximately 5 acres of land is up for sale to the City of Jackson. The outcome of the sale will be determined on November 6, if a bond initiative is passed to purchase the property. If the initiative is passed, the Forest Service will seek to lease approximately 6,042 rentable square feet of storage and guard station space. The proposed acreage on the initiative holds four buildings that contain the current storage and a Fire Crew station for the Bridger-Teton NF. The lease term requirement will be for 1 year with 6 automatic 1-year renewals cancellable by either party with a 90 days written notice. The space must be available for occupancy by January 1, 2013. The delineated area is north, east, and west of Mercill Ave. to the city limits of Jackson, Wyoming. The Forest Service is considering alternative space ONLY if economically advantageous. The Forest Service will use the information it receives in response to this advertisement as a basis to develop a cost-benefit analysis and to determine whether to compete the lease requirement or pursue a sole source justification to remain at its current location. In making this determination, the Forest Service will consider, among other things, the availability of alternate space that potentially can satisfy the Forest Service's requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunications infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime. Please send expressions of interest no later than Thursday, September 11, 2012, 5:00 pm MST to: Ann Allan 324 25th St. Ogden, UT 84401 Telephone: 801-625-5832 Fax: 801-625-5365 Email: aallan@fs.fed.us Expressions of Interest must include the following information: • Building name and address and location of the available space within the building; • Rentable square feet available, and expected rental rate per rentable square foot, fully serviced; • Date of space availability; • Building ownership information; • Amount of parking available on-site; • Energy efficiency and renewable energy features existing within the building; • List of building services to be provided. The Forest Service's decision regarding whether to relocate will be based, in part, on information received in response to this announcement.
