Description
The request is for maintenance and service on water treatment equipment for hemodialysis system. The equipment consist of: 3 Ameriwater MROS' 1 Ameriwater System MRO3 Feed Water Sediment Filtration devices. RO loop with six chase wall boxes The Contractor shall : Provide all labor, parts, filters, tools, calibrated test instruments, etc. required to perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs. All materials to be replaced shall be furnished by the Contractor. Report all discrepancies noted, that are not within the scope of this agreement, along with estimated repair cost to the project officer (PO). Test and inspect as required herein to ascertain the general condition of the equipment and report results. Protect adjacent structures, equipment, vehicles and vegetation. Ensure work site is properly cleaned up when work is complete. Dispose of all residue off site in strict accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local regulations Preventative Maintenance : The contractor shall perform scheduled preventative maintenance in accordance with Ameriwater's current Preventative Maintenance Check List (PMCL). The contractor will provide hard copy and electronic version of all field service corrective maintenance work orders. Routine Service : The contractor will provide routine service Monday through Friday, 7 am to 5 pm. Routine service will be considered a 2-hour response time. On-site service will be provided within 24-hours, excluding holidays, upon notification by the department point of contact. Emergency Repairs : The contractor will provide 24x7x365 emergency repair service. Emergency repair outside routine hours will be billed at overtime rate. Work shall not be accomplished by contractor until approved by project or contracting officer. Initial contact is to be made with the technical representative within 2 hours of call and no more than 48-hour for on-site service. Minimum Standards of Workmanship : All work shall be performed in compliance with all Federal, state and local laws. In addition, work will meet equipment manufacturers and generally accepted industry standards of good workmanship. All waste materials shall be disposed of by the Contractor in compliance with Federal and local laws and regulations. The following outlines the level of service performed each month : • Clean RO membranes quarterly or more frequently as needed • Disinfect RO membranes monthly • Disinfect RO distribution loop monthly • Deliver salt and add salt to brine tank leaving the remainder near tank for staff to fill between our visits. • Verify conductivity monitor's and calibrate as necessary. • Verify stroke length and frequency of antiscalant feeder and adjust as necessary. • Add PT 401 antiscalant to reservoir, leaving enough chemical to maintain between visits. • Replace portable exchange carbon tanks. (Quarterly) • Provide test strips and chemicals for maintenance. • Inspect wall boxes and replace fittings as needed • Provide all filters for RO's and feed water sediment filtration to last through each monthly visit. • Provide all service and repair for equipment failures. The following outlines the level of service performed annually : • Replace Cuno Filters • Re-bed 14x47 Carbon Tanks The following outlines the level of service performed every two years : • Re-bed Water Softener Period of Performance will be for a period of 12 months from the date of the award. All payments will be made by government VISA card monthly. If The Government intends to make a single award based on best value to the Government, technical and price factors considered.
