- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, is soliciting offers under Request for Quotation (RFQ) No W912BU-13-T-0002 for Operation & Maintenance of Sewage Treatment Plant USACE, Chesapeake City & Delaware Canal Project Office, Chesapeake City, MD 21915. The contractor shall provide all equipment, labor, and materials to perform Operation & Maintenance of Sewage Treatment Plant year round at the Chesapeake City & Delaware Canal. The contract will have a period of performance from 01 November 2012 through 31 October 2013 for the base year and will contain 4 additional 1-year option periods in accordance with Scope of Work included in the Solicitation. Award will be made to lowest responsible offeror. The RFQ will be available on or about 10 October 2012. This action will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Solicitation documents, plans and specifications will only be available via the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) homepage-https://www.fbo.gov. Interested offerors must register with FBO before accessing the system. Offers will be due on 18 October 2012 at 1:00 pm eastern time and shall be emailed to Helena DiNofa at helena.r.dinofa@usace.army.mil. Quotes should include pricing and certifications and representations. Offerors are responsible for printing paper copies of the RFQ. This procurement is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business. The North Atlantic Industrial Classification (NAIC) for this procurement is 221320 with a size standard of $7.0 million. Affirmative action to ensure equal employment opportunity is applicable to the resulting contract. No other notification to firms for this project will be made. All contractors must be registered in the DOD's Central Contractor Register (CCR) before award as required by DFARS 204-7300.
