- Modified Specification Description of Cabinets Table - A.1 Pricing (Bill of Material) Request for Quotation (RFQ) Letter of Instruction This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared by the General Services Administration, Federal Acquisition Service on behalf of GSA San Diego Offices, San Diego, California under solicitation no. 9QZAB-LR-A-A3187A in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR Subpart 13.5. GSA is relocating its employees currently stationed at 9988 Hibert Street, San Diego, CA 92131-2480 to the U.S. Courthouse Annex at 333 West Broadway in downtown San Diego. This relocation activity is scheduled to be complete by January 4, 2013. The purpose of this solicitation is to acquire commodity items that were not available on GSA Schedule 71 when the originally San Diego Office Furniture procurement was submitted on GSA e-Buy under RFQ682213. Additionally, a Request for Information/Sources was also submitted on GSA e-Buy under GSA Schedule 71, RFQ743278 for these items without any success; as a result, these commodities must be purchased on the open market. Offers are being requested, and this announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-61 effective on October 15, 2012. This is an unrestrictive procurement under NAICS 337211 Wood Office Furniture Manufacturing, Size standard in number of employees 500. NOTE: Section 508 applies to this requirement. All Electronic and Information Technology (EIT) procured through this contract must meet the applicable accessibility standards at 36 CFR 1194, unless an agency exception to this requirement exists. 36 CFR 1194 implements Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, and is viewable at http://accessboard.gov/sec508/508standards.htm - Part 1194. Contractors are now responsible for indicating on each line item in the procurement whether products or services are compliant or noncompliant with the accessibility standards at 36 CFR 1194. The quotation must also indicate where full details of compliance can be found (e.g., Contractor's website or other exact location). Offers submitted in response to this solicitation must comply with the attached Request for Quotation (RFQ) Instruction Letter. Solicitation provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items (FEB 2012) is hereby incorporated by reference. This RFQ is for Open Market Pricing. Offerors are hereby reminded to complete their annual representations and certificates electronically at https://www.uscontractorregistration.com in accordance with FAR 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items (APR 2012) with its offer. Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items (FEB 2012), is hereby incorporated by reference. Clause FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items (AUG 2012), is hereby incorporated by reference with applicable paragraphs applicable to this solicitation and any resultant contract. GSAM 552.212-71 Contract Terms and Conditions Applicable to GSA Acquisition of Commercial Items (July 2003) and GSAM 552.212.72 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to GSA Acquisition of Commercial Items (Sep 2003).
