Description

The US Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service in Pullman, WA has a requirement for up to 10 deliveries of 26 ton lots of cubed alfalfa 2nd and 3rd cutting relative protein value 19.49%, ADF 35.37, TDN 58.41 for sheep, cattle and goats. Also WSU is concerned about bringing in cubed alfalfa which may contain invasive species of plant material which hasn't been tested for purity by WSU. Deliveries to be between 10/31/12 and 9/30/13 one weeks' notice for delivery. We need to maintain consistency in the feed in support of our continuing research. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source CJ CUBERS Othello WA. under authority of FAR 13. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within two days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested firms are encouraged to submit proposals by fax or email to the attention of Fred Gifford as listed in this notice.
