Description
Quote Form This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Kentucky National Guards intent is to award a one year firm fixed price contract for linen services. This acquisition is solicited as full and open competition using NAICS code 812332, Industrial Launderers. The period of performance will be from 1 December 2012 thru 30 November 2013 plus two option years. The evaluation criteria will be the lowest price technically acceptable. Technical acceptability will be determined on the contractor's ability to meet the delivery schedule and the contractors past performance. The Kentucky Army National Guard wants to establish prices for the following items; 1. Linen services (white pillow cases, White bed sheets) approximately 30,000 pounds of linen will be completed in a year. Linen is customer owned. We want to receive a per pound price to include any type of service and/or delivery fee. 2. We are also requesting option year pricing for 2 subsequent years. 3. Submitted pricing data should include price per pound for base and option years and any applicable service charges for delivery and "rush order" service costs. These prices will be used for the extent of the one year contract plus two option years. Contractor will pick up laundry once a week and return in the same week (within three days after pick up). Contractor will be responsible for cleaning, drying and folding all linen. Contractor will be allowed to bill the government once a month. The pickup and return will take place at the Wendell H.
