- Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, services, transportation, supervision, and all operations necessary for the renovation of flooring, Medical/Dental Facility Building #270 United States Coast Guard (USCG) Training Center (TRACEN) Cape May, New Jersey - Cape May County. Davis Bacon Wage Rates shall apply. Major work items include but are not limited to: Installation of j-molding as a cap along the wall edge of the flash cove base flooring installed in the previous project. Installation shall take place in areas accessible of the 20 dental exam rooms, 3 hygienist rooms, and Recruit Processing Room where seamless flooring was previously installed; Installation of seamless vinyl flooring system on top of existing flooring in the Urgent Care Room and Corridor, and the Dental X-Ray Room, to include seamless transitions between new flooring and existing flooring in adjacent hallways and a j-molding cap along the seamless flooring end; Mobilization, demobilization, and clean up; Supervision, materials, equipment, transportation, labor and all other incidentals necessary to complete the work. Period of Performance shall be 60 days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. NOTE: Project must be sequenced to avoid conflicts with dental x-ray operations. Flooring installation in the x-ray room section shall be completed on weekends only. All work shall be performed in accordance with the USCG specifications, drawings, provisions, clauses and the terms and conditions which will be provided when all Request for Quote (RFQ) solicitation document files become available for public download on or after 31 OCTOBER 2012 exclusively from the internet by accessing the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at: http://www.fbo.gov. If solicitation files do not appear on that date, please check back daily. The date set for receipt of offers is approximately 30 NOVEMBER 2012. These dates are estimated and may change. NOTE: NO TELEPHONE, FACSIMILE, E-MAIL AND/OR WRITTEN REQUESTS FOR SOLICITATIONS OR POSTING STATUS SHALL BE ACCEPTED. Our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.
