- In relation to this market research, the Product Director, Test, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (PD TMDE), At-Platform Automatice Test systems (APATS) plans to conduct an Industry Day to discuss and initiate industry feedback on a requirement for the Next Generation of the regged and non-rugged MSD systems that are industrial, computer-based, commercial-off-the-shelf diagnostic equipment. The Industry Day meetings will allow sources to show or demonstrate existing products (hardware, mock-ups, or technologies) and to discuss their products and technologies related to this market research. Industry Day is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Govoernment for any purpose. Attendance is strictly voluntary and is not required in order to submit a proposal for any future requirement that may develop as a result of this market research effort. Interested parties shall bear their own expenses related to their voluntary participation in Industry Day. PD TMDE, APATS will conduct the One-On-One Industry Day meetings 13-15 November 2012, at Redstone Arsenal, AL. Attendees that do not have a Government issued Common Access Card (CAC) or Military Identification must enter through the Redstone Arsenal Visitor's Center at Gate 9 on Rideout Road where badges may be obtained for approved visitors. Notification of attendance must be emailed to William Jarius Palmer at william.j.palmer2.civ@mail.mil NO LATER THAN 5:00pm CST, 5 November 2012. Interested parties will be notified of their briefing date and time no later than 5:00pm CST, 8 November 2012. The following information is needed in order to schedule a one-on-one meeting for interested parties: The names and titiles of no more than four (4) individuals representing your company and the individuals that require a visitor's pass to gain on-base access; and a synopsis that addresses the company's capability as it relates to the requirements of this RFI. Additionally, Industry Day participants are also requested to submit specific questions they wish to dicsuss along with initial attendance notification. All inforamtion submitted in response to this Industry Day shall become the property of the Government and will not be returned to the submitter. If any information should contain proprietary/competition sensitive material, the responses shall be marked accordingly. Interested parties are encouraged to respond to the RFI, even though a RFI response is not mandatory in order to participate in the Industry Day. Preference in Industry Day scheduling will be given to companies submitting RFI responses.
