- Description
- Government of Georgia (GoG) has received a grant from the Government of the United States through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) for Improved Infrastructure, Economic Opportunities, and Support for Internally Displaced Persons and intends to apply part of this grant for Rehabilitation of water supply system (in 9 villages) for IDP settlement (Gori, Kareli, Kaspi and Mtskheta Districts). Municipal Development Fund of Georgia (MDF) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Rehabilitation of water supply system for IDP settlements in 9 villages. This Contract is for the construction and installation of works for improved water supply/distribution systems for 9 cottage settlements of Berbuki, Khurvaleti, Skra, Shavshvebi, Karaleti, Akhalsofeli, Mokhisi, Metekhi, and Tsilkani serving 2000 households constructed for IDPs from the August 2008 conflict. The contractor will prepare working drawings, construction Quality Control plan, Inspection and Performance Test Plan, Site Specific Environmental Management Plan, "as built" drawings and provide Operating and Maintenance Manuals. The contractor will also conduct tests for each water supply source to ensure the quantity and quality of the water meets GoG potable water quality and water supply standards, before and after the completion of works. All Works must be completed within 6 (Six) months after Start Date. Bidding will be conducted through competitive bidding procedures, in accordance with USAID policy, and is open to all bidders listed in USAID Geographic Code 937, as defined by USAID source and nationality regulations 22 C.F.R. Part 228 ( http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/FR-20101-10/html/2011-33240.htm ), or 110 (currently the United States, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan ) in effect on the date of acquisition. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia (MDF) office at the address below from 10:00 to 18:00 hours. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of GEL 300 (three hundred) or equivalent. The minimum required average annual turnover of construction works for the successful Bidder in the last three years shall be GEL 2,800,000 equivalent. 2.
